The conference I was referring to has finished, however I think it may be still possible to read the various conference papers by clicking on the link I supplied above. 

If you are new to learning about the autism spectrum then have a look at some of the links we have listed on the left side of this page. Also, if the idea of a conference appeals to you, Autism New Zealand will be hosting one at the end of this year. They also have workshops and seminars throghout the year. 

With a little sleuthing around you may be able to find some people in your area for you and your 24-year old to talk with.
